BERDAYA contains various activities of the teaching staff in Indonesia in handling and managing the various potentials, obstacles, challenges, and problems that exist in society. Implementation of service activities also involves the participation of the community and partners. Service activities are organized into an activity aimed at improving the welfare of society. Abstract

This Community Service Activity was carried out with the aim of providing training to the millennial generation in finding inspiration to start their business and motivating participants to be able to start their business by utilizing digital media or existing platforms. In addition, the millennial generation should be able to grow creativity and be able to think creatively to create a business or business opportunity, and be able to calculate the cost of products and the selling price of the products produced so that they can provide benefits for success. The activities are divided into 3 stages of training and are both bold and alluring. The training implementation method uses the service learning method approach through three stages, namely preparation, training and evaluation. The final result of this training was an increase in the proportion of correct answers in the pre-test and post-test implementation and there was a partner satisfaction level of 89%, very satisfied and 11% satisfied.

Abstract

The group of housewives who play a role in contributing to the family's economy is the manager of the Dpapahares Café located at Perumnas Bumi Teluk Jambe, Karawang. This group of housewives has been under the guidance of PT Kalbe Farma's Corporate Social Responsibility since 2020. This training has produced various coffee drink products, side dishes, and home-cooked food. So far, Dpapahares Café has generated revenue of around IDR 500,000 on weekdays and IDR 1,000,000 on weekends. Unfortunately, in managing the Café business, the Chairman often faces internal conflicts caused by non-compliance with rules, and schedules, rejection of directions, and others. This problem makes Dpapahares Café not yet provide maximum profit and often experience internal conflicts. Even if the members pursue it seriously, this income can help their family's economy

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide training and assistance to improve skills and understanding of HR recruitment and digital marketing for convection MSME actors in West Java. The activity was carried out for approximately 4 days. MSME actors who became participants totaled 33 participants. The responses of the webinar participants gave positive responses regarding this training. The participants really did not understand recruitment, especially online recruitment. Likewise, from the results of this service it is known that the skills and knowledge regarding digital marketing of the participants are still minimal. Suggestions need further training that is more implementable and more intense assistance. Furthermore, further training is needed regarding the application and implementation of online recruitment with the application.

Abstract

This activity is carried out to provide solutions to problems faced by students in improving their English language skills to face rapid technological developments so that they can compete globally. Proficient mastery of English positively impacts them; this English proficiency can be measured through the TOEFL test. The TOEFL test is a scary scourge for everyone, especially students, so training activities related to the TOEFL test were created. The participants of this activity were 39 students in semester 6 of the ITSNU Pekalongan Office Administration study program. The methods of this activity are observation, lecture, practice, and evaluation. As a result of this activity, all participants were enthusiastic about participating in every material presented by the speaker and had experience in doing TOEFL test questions. It is hoped that after participating in this activity, participants can appear confident and master the TOEFL test questions and time management of problem work to obtain satisfactory results.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity is targeted at Small and Medium Enterprises in Sidowungu Village, Menganti District, Gresik Regency. The problems of our MSME partner named Mrs. Nur who produce intestinal chips are dominant in terms of marketing (eg product quality standards, demand for products, lack of product variety, implementation of promotional activities and price competition). In addition, the unstable supply and price of raw materials and other supporting materials (for example: scarcity of raw material supplies and prices of raw materials which tend to fluctuate). The solutions provided for problems in the production sector, the team will provide assistance and training on product quality standards, assistance and training for MSME product development, the use of deep fryers. Assistance and training for MSME product development. Consultation/testing at the UWP Science Laboratory. Counseling on food hygiene from health center cadres. Solutions to problems in the field of Finance, the team will provide training and assistance in making simple bookkeeping to find out the progress of their business and solutions to problems in the field of Marketing, the team will accompany them to make modern and practical labels with the brands they create. Then accompany them to do offline and online marketing so that their market reach is wider. Offline, brochures and banners will be made for these products, while online it will be done by making WhatsApp contacts and marketing through market places. For online marketing, it will be preceded by training and IT assistance involving partners and partner children. Outcome Targets are solutions to the problems they face, presenters in national seminars, scientific publications through national journals, publications in the mass media, intellectual property rights, increasing the quality and quantity of socio-religious behavior, increasing the entrepreneurial spirit, increasing the application of science and technology, and increasing the value of caring each other in the local community. The method used is training and assistance to partners. The plan that will be carried out by the team is to provide assistance and training in the fields of production, finance and marketing. After that the team will escort partners to evaluate each activity program. Then assist partners in sharing knowledge with the wider community. With the implementation of this Community Service activity program, it is hoped that revenue will grow so as to increase the welfare of partners.

Abstract

This activity aims to answer the needs of MSMEs in the normal era of Covid-19, namely the digitalization of business marketing development. The target of this activity is MSME players in the East Jakarta area, including the community from several sub-districts that are members of the Jakpreneur UMKM East Jakarta Region, namely Jatinegara District, Matraman District, Cakung District, Pulo Gadung District, Duren Sawit District, Pondok Kopi District with various business fields ranging from culinary, fashion, services and other creative industries. The method for carrying out this activity was an offline workshop with 109 participants at the East Jakarta Mayor's Office Block D Building. Assistance in digital marketing using Google My Business to expand the reach and attractiveness of business information for East Jakarta JackPreneur MSMEs. To evaluate this activity, pre-tests and post-tests were carried out, and it was found that the results of this socialization provided increased awareness to MSME actors (up 42% from 12% to 54%) of the importance of digitalization in informing businesses in the digital era, to improve MSME business performance.

Abstract

Various kinds of problems and pressures inmates (WBP) face during the punishment can trigger psychiatric issues. These psychiatric problems can manifest as actions that harm the environment or each other. Humans themselves are never separated from the dynamics of emotions in their lives. However, when life is at its lowest point, negative emotions spiral out of control and become a ticking time bomb. Negative emotions at their peak need to be channeled so as not to destroy the human being himself. The channeling of negative feelings does not have to be conducted concretely through words but through a cathartic process through works of art. Artworks can be a symbolic embodiment of life storylines, trauma, or anxiety. Art therapy activities aim to be catharsis or release of emotions in dealing with life's pressures so that participants can feel more prosperous while serving their sentences. Evaluation of activities through observation and interviews with participants, and the results are 13 participants expressed satisfaction with the activities that had been carried out.

Abstract

This activity was carried out in a Kedawung village, Jumapolo District, Karanganyar Regency. Kedawung Village is one of the villages in the Jumapolo sub-district, and the occupation is mostly non-Muslims; therefore, instilling the character of religious tolerance is very important so children with different religious backgrounds can respect each other. So that it will create harmony and unity in everyday life in society. This community service activity in Kedawung village uses storytelling and hands-on practice. By using this storytelling method, one can find out how effective the storytelling technique is in increasing the development of tolerance values ​​in students. The results of the implementation of community service in the form of stimulating children to color and tell stories that have been carried out can increase children’s tolerance, such as children being able to work together in completing coloring assignments because they consider that they are the same. There are no differences between them. The students can internalize and understand the religious values wholeheartedly without having to use coercion from anywhere so that the religious values ​​taught can always be applied in their lives. This shows that by telling stories and coloring, the character of religious tolerance can be successfully instilled in children.

Abstract

Era digital teknologi saat ini mengkehendaki setiap lini kehidupan dapat diakses dengan mudah, cepat, efektif dan efisien. Terdapat berbagai macam aplikasi teknologi yang telah dikembangkan untuk mempermudah tugas manusia, termasuk pengembangan Google Form.Google Form adalah salah satu fasilitas yang disediakan Google untuk membuat kuesioner atau formulir tertentu yang digunakan sebagai alat survey atau sekedar untuk mengumpulkan data mengenai fenomena tertentu dari responden. Aplikasi ini sangat dekat penggunaannya di kalangan akademisi dan profesi lainnya, terlebih mahasiswa yang sedang mengumpulkan data tertentu untuk penelitiannya. Meskipun sudah cukup populer, masih banyak mahasiswa yang tidak begitu mengenal dan belum pernah berinteraksi, sehingga kebanyakan mahasiswa tetap memilih langkah manual dengan menyediakan lembar survey cetak untuk disebarkan kepada responden. Oleh karena pengetahuan dan keterampilan ini cukup penting bagi mahasiswa, maka dibutuhkan suatu wadah berupa kegiatan pelatihan untuk membimbing mahasiswa dalam membuat lembar survey online dengan menggunakan Google Form. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan selama dua hari dengan melibatkan sekitar 9 orang mahasiswa. Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah terbentuknya lebih dari 3 lembar survey online oleh mahasiswa berikut juga data yang dikumpulkan setelah survey tersebut disebarkan.

Abstract

Kuningan is one of the areas in Indonesia with a lot of tourism potential. Even though there are many tourist destinations in Kuningan, local and foreign tourists rarely know about tourist attractions, especially tourist villages in Kuningan. Sawah Lope is one of them, Sawa, located in the village of Cikaso Kuningan, has many beautiful tourist attractions and natural resources that tourists rarely visit. This situation can happen because the residents there and the local government cannot carry out promotions and market their area so that they can be attracted by tourists, from local to foreign tourists. Sawah Lope is a Nature Tourism that utilizes views of rice fields and irrigation as tourist objects to attract the attention of visitors and the surrounding community. This lope rice field tourism is managed by two community organizations: Tourism Awareness Group and Village Owned Enterprises (Bumdes). Thus, the cooperation of these two community organizations has an essential influence on the continuity and progress of tourism objects.
